Warranty Policy

1. Our Commitment to Quality

At DoorMarts (operated by ELITE FROST LIMITED), we stand behind the quality of our products. This Warranty Policy outlines our commitment to you, our valued customer, should any product not meet our high standards due to manufacturing defects.

This warranty applies to all products purchased directly from doormarts.de or our authorized resellers and is extended only to the original purchaser of the product.

2. Warranty Period

Unless otherwise explicitly stated on the product page or product packaging for a specific item, DoorMarts warrants its products against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

Some products may have different warranty periods, which will be clearly indicated at the point of sale or in their accompanying documentation.

3. What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.
  • Failure of the product to perform as intended due to a manufacturing defect.
  • Examples may include (but are not limited to, subject to our assessment):
    • Faulty internal mechanisms.
    • Premature failure of finishes if not caused by external factors listed in exclusions.

4. What This Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover, and ELITE FROST LIMITED shall not be liable for, any of the following:

  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or tarnishing that occurs with normal use over time and does not affect the product's functionality.
  • Damage resulting from improper installation, misapplication, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or alteration.
  • Damage caused by exposure to improper environmental conditions, such as harsh chemicals, solvents, salt water/air (unless the product is specifically rated for marine environments), excessive moisture, abrasive materials, or extreme temperatures.
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow care and maintenance instructions provided with the product or generally accepted good practice for the type of product.
  • Products that have been repaired or modified by anyone other than an authorized DoorMarts representative.
  • Labor charges, installation, removal, or reinstallation costs, or any other consequential or incidental damages or costs.
  • Products not purchased from DoorMarts or its authorized resellers. Proof of purchase is required.
  • Shipping damage (such issues should be reported immediately upon receipt as per our Shipping Policy).
  • Consumable parts, if any (e.g., batteries, if included with an electronic product).

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our Customer Support team as soon as the defect is discovered:

  2. Provide the following information:
    • Your full name and contact details.
    • Proof of purchase (e.g., order number, sales receipt).
    • A clear description of the alleged defect and the circumstances under which it occurred.
    • Photographic or video evidence of the defect, if possible, to help us assess the claim.
  3. Our Customer Support team will review your claim. We may require additional information or ask you to return the product to us for inspection. Do not return any product without prior authorization from us.

6. Our Response to a Claim (Remedies)

If, after inspection, we determine that the product is defective in materials or workmanship and is covered by this warranty, ELITE FROST LIMITED will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective product using new or refurbished parts; OR
  • Replace the defective product with a new or refurbished product of the same or comparable model and quality; OR
  • In cases where repair or replacement is not feasible or practical, offer a refund of the original purchase price, potentially on a pro-rata basis depending on the age and use of the product.

Any product repaired or replaced under this warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair/replacement, whichever is longer.

Replacement products are subject to availability. If an identical product is not available, we reserve the right to substitute it with a comparable product of equal or greater value.

7. Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

  • If we request you to return the product for inspection, you will typically be responsible for the cost of shipping the product to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.
  • If your warranty claim is deemed valid after inspection, DoorMarts will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to you (using a standard shipping method).
  • If the product is found not to be defective under the terms of this warranty, or if the warranty is void, you will be responsible for all shipping costs, including the cost to return the product to you if you wish.

8. Your Statutory Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. For customers in the United Kingdom, this warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable consumer protection legislation. Your statutory rights provide that goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and as described.

For customers outside the United Kingdom, this warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the applicable consumer laws in your country of residence.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ELITE FROST LIMITED's liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies set forth herein (repair, replacement, or refund). In no event shall ELITE FROST LIMITED be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including, but not limited to, loss of use, loss of profits, loss of business, costs of removal or reinstallation, or damage to property) arising out of or in connection with the product or its use, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

10. Governing Law

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
